It is essential that video distributors are installed at all junctions to achieve a clear and clean image on all monitors in the facility. The number of distributors depends on the distribution per floor within the facility. The distributor has 1 video input, 1 bypass output for the next distributor and 4 distribution outputs to distribute the video to the monitors and areas of the facility. If the bypass output is used the resistance must be cut to 75Ohm of the distributor. The distributors may be powered: - directly from the facility’s power (the distributor is always active). It is often used for distribution in strands – through the monitors: it is only activated when one of the monitors connected to the distributor is activated. Video distribution in several outputs.

Small size allows installation in electrical cabinets. Can be flush-fit in standard boxes 10x10 cm. With adhesive strips for fixing, or may be screwed directly onto the wall.
Conventional System: uses wires common to the whole installation plus 1 call wire (or call return) per home..
Recommended in small to medium-sized buildings (up to 50 residents approx), with several accesses and central guard unit. For residential complexes with general entrance and interior blocks.

- Audio door entry system: 4 common wires + N (1 call wire per home).
- Video door entry system: 7 common wires + 1 video coaxial+N (1 call wire per home).
